Bruce H. Rubin, President

President of BHR Global Associates since 2004, Bruce Rubin helps companies get their products to market through global sourcing, supply chain management, and a network of national sales reps who can bring the product to all major retailers.

 

BHR Global focuses on housewares, hardware, juvenile, and home markets. Based in the Philadelphia metro market, BHR Global works with clients and companies all over the world.
 

To successfully assist clients in their retail product endeavors, Rubin draws on a lifetime of experience in product development, sourcing, and supply chain support at other companies. He is currently a Partner at Nenko Advisors International, global commercialization specialists focused mainly on projects in Asia. He is also a consultant with Nimble Leader, a business management advisory firm.
 

Rubin was a Senior Vice President at Ginsey Industries, a manufacturer and distributor of bath and juvenile products to major retailers in the US and Canada, where he was responsible for materials and production planning, global and domestic sourcing, product development, vendor management, systems implementation, and retailer interface from both an operational as well as sales/marketing support as a product manager.
 

Before that, he spent nearly two decades at Keystone-Franklin, Inc., starting as Inventory Control Manager and ending as Assistant to the President. During his time there, Rubin was responsible for inventory planning, systems implementation and development, product development, and global sourcing. He interfaced with retailers and had direct responsibility for Sears and Sears Catalog business, along with customer service.
 

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and his MBA in Business Management from Temple University. He is Certified in Production and Inventory Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS CPIM).


A frequent industry speaker, he has presented at the “No More Food to Waste” conference at the Hague; at various APICS Chapters on CPIM Certification, Inventory Planning and Forecasting, and Inventory Management. He has also been asked to speak to Drexel University students on “Bringing Products to Market Successfully.”
